My experience can only be described as disastrous. I took a subaru legacy in to get a wheel bearing replaced. They told me I had a bad head gasket and offered to buy the car for $500. I decided to hold onto the car while searching for another. I bought a newer forester and took it to them for a general diagnosis and basic repairs including an oil change. To issues were nored but the car ran low on oil and the engine was destroyed. I then had another garage check the 2001 and they said there was no head gasket problem.
